Abbey Grange is a magnificant building and is one of the oldest in the region.  Originally built in 1320 as a summer residence for the Abbot, Abbey Grange was also used as a lock-up and a house for the poor until it was purchased and completely restored in 1896 as a residence.  The current owners purchased the  property 13 years ago and have had it as a Bed & Breakfast for one year.  The owners live in one section, four guest rooms are in the other section and the grand hall in the center is used as a common meeting area.  It is a remarkable place with very friendly and knowledgable staff.  It is going to be difficult to leave.
